ENE 599 Visits Albert Robles Center

Students and instructors for the ENE 599: Potable Water Reuse course visited the Albert Robles Center (ARC) for Water Recycling and Learning. ARC is part of the Water Replenishment District which treats up to 14.8 million gallons of water per day for groundwater recharge. ARC seeks to teach the community about Southern California’s water resources and how we can protect them. Through interactive exhibits, they show where our water comes from, and what makes groundwater so important for Los Angeles County.

These site visits are crucial to the course, as they give students a chance to see course lessons in practice. They additionally help foster relationships between the ReWater Center and water providers throughout the region.
